Choosing a Tiara For Your Wedding
You have found your prince charming and you're getting married! Now it is time to make some very important decisions in order to make your special day perfect.
Location, menu, guest lists, invitations, photographer etc, etc, etc! However the foremost thoughts for any bride to be are her attire for the most special day of her life.
This is your chance to feel at your most beautiful and special, remembering that all eyes are going to on you from the moment you appear!
I know from experience what an ordeal it can be when it comes to the time to choose your wedding dress and the numerous accessories you will need on the day so I thought I would offer a few gems of advice.
Whatever the style of your dress, be it full, straight, fussy or plain there are perfect accessories out there waiting for you. Once you have chosen your dress it is important to consider how you will wear your hair on the big day. Will it be sculptured or natural? Put up or left loose?
Listed below are few ideas of accessories to consider when you have an idea on how you will wear your hair. Remember nothing has to be set in stone but you will find it helps to have some idea of what you fancy when choosing hair accessories.
A tiara (band or clip-in) looks stunning in any style. A note to consider is if you are having a sculptured ‘up-do’ a clip-in tiara comb seems to work best.
A headband may be considered a simple accessory, but simple can still be stunning.
Hair slides, pins and jewel hair twists can add the perfect sparkle any style.
Headbands and tiaras both tend to work well if you are choosing to wear a veil but if this is not what you want, hair pins, slides and jewel twists can be hidden in your style underneath to be revealed when you taken the veil off.
It is also important to take a number of other factors into consideration when you are choosing your wedding jewellery. If your dress is very detailed perhaps your accessories should be fairly understated to ensure you do not detract any attention away from it. On the other hand if your dress is simple why not opt for dramatic, striking jewellery to add lots of sparkle and complete your look.
Although I consider the advice above to be really helpful it is most important that you choose exactly what you want and feel most comfortable in for you big day. You need to ensure that you are entirely pleased that you have perfected your look and that you haven’t just settled for what you think you should be wearing.
Most importantly make sure you enjoy shopping for the most important outfit you will probably ever wear.
